Great Experience

Contacted them at 13:30 about a blocked drain. An engineer attended at 16:00 and within 30 mins the blockage was cleared. Pricing was clear with no nasty surprises and the engineer was diligent and did a thorough job. People on the phone were great and the email updates worked well. Would use again - the best testimony.

Very happy

I rang about a water leak from my hot water tank and within two hours a plumber arrived. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it, making sure that everything was working before leaving. He was thorough and conscientious and explained everything, including what to do if this fault should happen again. Very good service from the company.

Should be called Un-Able Group

Should be called Un-Able group! Plumber came out made a load of excuses told me it wasn't what he does left my house with a major leak/flood outside my front door, spent 20 minutes looking at the problem sucked some water out with his hoover and charged me a £120 considering it's free call out and free quotation had to send footage from my ring belt, and threatened legal action in order to get a refund from the company thay didn't do nothing to help me in my most desperate need for help moment... In my fact they added more pressure to my situation... Was decent enough to give me a refund though after footage was sent and complain...

5 Star service

your rep was on time, he informed me of everything he was doing explaining what and why he was doing,
also checking my gas appliances and gas meter, which when i had my boiler serviced previously this was by another company they only dealt with the boiler and nothing else,
Your rep was also very polite, and is a credit to your company
i was very impressed and would definitely recommend your company without hesitation.

Your heating engineer, Brian, assessed the fault very quickly, he fixed the problem, doing a very good and very efficient job.
I would use Theo’s heating engineer anytime and happy to pass on this review

Would not recommend

Pleased that my concern has now been properly considered and appropriate recompense made.

Apparently raising a concern with Able Group within 24 hours means the concern isn't valid and we should have made it more of a priority! Electrician was unable to do the work requested - and we totally understand why - no complaint there at all. What we are unhappy with is the additional time he spent and charged for looking and quoting for additional work we didn't ask for. Had to ask him to leave! Red flag too when he said if we went direct to him he'd do it cheaper!

I can see from our system you have been in communication with my colleagues regarding your concern who explained why we was unable to replace the socket. The electrician carried out testing and checking finding that it was not safe and viable to carry out the works and suggested that the works carried out in a way to make the property safe, these investigations are charged on our labour charge as quoted.

I have passed this on to our customer services team, who will conduct a full investigation into the issues raised.

Plumbing Service

Plumbing Service - Ryan came and fixed broken pipe but damaged seperate previously watertight (for over 3 years) main heating pipe in process by smashing floorboards with a mallet (no power tools or check what was under the floorboards first). All other pipes were fine except the one under the floorboard smashed with a mallet multiple times. Make sure you record/video if in your property as both Ryan and Able group denied they caused the damage and wanted to charge >£500 to fix the pipe Ryan broke. A low quality company all round.

Able offered to reduce the charge after over 1 month of multiple phone calls and email exchanges. Complaint only taken seriously after mention of court action. Note whilst my complaint was open and ongoing I recieved multiple demands for payment including CCJ and legal action threat.

Appears both the trade and back office elements of Able group are incompetent/unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

A problem with a faulty lock…

Called as had a blockage that affected…

Called as had a blockage that affected toilet flush sink and shower drain , one blockage , plumber arrived , with a long rubber plunger , spent approximately 20 mins plunging with my husband helping , blockage cleared somewhat but not completely , left informing us that we would have to pay for more than one blockage , 171 pounds charged for 20 mins work with a rubber plunger and an attitude and problem not fixed .... doctors do t get paid that after 10 years training ... Mickey Mouse company don't use

Call was handled efficiently with full…Emergency call out to clear blocked drain.

Call was handled efficiently with full explanation of process and costs. Plumber arrived within the timescale I had been given and the job was completed efficiently with again clear information about the cause of the problem.
